Following several very rainy weeks, this tree line meadow takes on shades of purple. Overnight, blue columbines appear throughout the meadow, each looking upward with a bright smile. In this remote place, the only sounds to be heard are a chirping marmot and the roar of two waterfalls gently echoing off the valley walls. While high above it all, the jagged peaks of the Continental Divide reach up into a bluebird sky.
