Old Fall River Road has closed to Vehicle Traffic for the Season

Old Fall River Road is closed to vehicles for the season.

Park staff are now conducting end of season road maintenance operations on Old Fall River Road. For the safety of all users, the road is closed to all uses from Tuesday, Oct. 6 through Friday, Oct. 9.

All users must adhere to posted closure signs. Violators will be cited. Parking in front of the access gate to Old Fall River Road is prohibited. NPS vehicles will be entering and exiting Old Fall River Road throughout the day. Any vehicles that block road access will be towed and cited.

Old Fall River Road will reopen temporarily to bicycles, leashed pets and pedestrians on Saturday, Oct. 10 through Monday, Oct. 12.

On Tuesday, Oct. 13, Old Fall River Road will close to all uses again for continued road maintenance operations through Friday, Oct. 16.

On Saturday, Oct. 17, the road will reopen to bicycles, leashed pets, and pedestrians for the winter season. Leashed pets and bicycles are only allowed on the road. They may not travel on any side trails.
