A good way to check the current weather conditions is to watch national park webcams. Most of them are updated every 10 minutes. This is also a good way to see if there are lines at the entrance stations! Occasionally some of these cameras have problems and stop working, but they usually come back online in a few days.
Webcams in Rocky Mountain National Park
Longs Peak
This webcam is located near the Longs Peak Trailhead on the east side of Rocky Mountain National Park. It is looking west towards the dramatic east face of Longs Peak. This view of Longs Peak shows the cliff face known as The Diamond.
Glacier Basin
Located at the Glacier Basin Campground just off Bear Lake Road, this webcam looks up at the Continental Divide. The mountains which are visible from left to right are: Half Mountain, Thatchtop, Taylor Peak, Otis Peak, and Hallett Peak.
Kawuneeche Valley
This webcam is located near the west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. It looks north over Harbison Meadow towards Mount Baker and the Never Summer Mountains.
Beaver Meadows Entrance
This is the Beaver Meadows Entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park on Highway 36 on the east side of the park. This is the main entrance to the park, located just a few miles west of the town of Estes Park.
Fall River Entrance
This is the Fall River Entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park on Highway 34 on the east side of the park. This camera looks southeast to Deer Mountain.
Grand Lake Entrance
This camera is at the Grand Lake Entrance Station on the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park. The camera looks southwest and shows cars entering and exiting the park.
Alpine Visitor Center
Located at the Alpine Visitor Center on Trail Ridge Road at nearly 12,000' above sea level, this webcam looks towards the east over Willow Park. The mountain on the left is Mount Chapin and the mountain on the right is Sundance Mountain. This webcam is updated just a few times a day during the winter season.
