Green Mountain Trail
Wildflowers are beginning to fill the hillsides in the burn areas on the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park. It is wonderful to see life flourishing here. Unfortunately, it will still be decades before we have a new forest here to replace what was burned. In the meantime, wildlife is almost as abundant as the wildflowers as woodpeckers search for bugs, moose graze, and small animals thrive in the undergrowth.
