Beaver Meadows
This morning I was out in Beaver Meadows, Rocky Mountain National Park and the aspen trees are beginning to put out their leaves while Longs Peak is still covered with lots of snow. It's a delightful time of year when everything is coming back to life. Tomorrow, we start the busy season as Memorial Weekend arrives. The timed-entry permit system goes into effect tomorrow and will continue through mid-October. Also, Trail Ridge Road is still closed due to lots of snow in May.
