Beaver Meadows
This morning there was a gentle beauty to the park. Longs Peak looked so peaceful as it towered high over Beaver Meadows on this mid-August morning. At this time of year the late-summer hues are appearing as the grasses begin to change and the light is often diffused by the smoke of distant wildfires. This creates a special softness ot the world. It's a wonderful, but overlooked beauty that often appears at this time of year.
