Rocky Mountain National Park
The sun was setting as I hiked from Flattop Mountain towards Hallett Peak on this chilly February evening. There in the open tundra I came upon this sign covered in thick rime ice. It was lit by the warm light of the setting sun while clouds briefly shaded Hallett Peak, adding to the drama of this gorgeous evening in Rocky Mountain National Park.
