Bear Lake

There are many scenic locations to choose from around the lake, with benches for guests and large rocks to stand on. This view is on the north side of Bear Lake, looking towards Longs Peak.

Bear Lake is undoubtedly one of the most iconic locations in the park, with views of Longs Peak, Hallett Peak, and Thatchtop Mountain towering over the small lake. In the autumn, aspens will glow with colors on the north side of the lake. This area is very popular, so no weekend ceremonies are permitted at any time.
