Twin Sisters Peaks
On Wednesday April 3rd I took a walk up to the summit of Twin Sisters Peaks. The trail begins next to Lily Lake on Highway 7. The trail was snowcovered all the way up and with the warm weather we've been having recently, snowshoes are recommended to keep from breaking through. This photo shows the approach to the summit after the trail leaves the last of the trees. It was another beautiful day to be out in Rocky Mountain National Park. Photo © copyright by Erik Stensland.
